While the American Senator Coons has proposed legislation, which may seem laudable, the afore mentioned book documents years of presentations by academics and investigative journalists to Congressional and Senate Committees regarding the algorithms used for years by Social Media Corporations. I may suggest this is yet another example of “kicking the can down the road”.
