China's response to Canada matching America's 100% import tariffs on EVs was to slap 100% import tariffs on many canola products. If these stay in place they will wreak havoc on Saskatchewan farmers and goes to show the follie of trying to placate the Trump administration. If you love irony you'll love Premier Moe's attempt at getting Carney's ear on this given the Saskatchewan sovereignty play-acting he likes to get up to but that's another story...
